Playing Stories

Stories are interactive visual novels created by the community. You make choices, the plot adapts, and every playthrough can end differently.

A Full Scene, Not Just a Chat

A story takes over the screen. Background art sets the scene, music plays, and a full cast of characters appear — each with their own voice and personality. The active speaker switches naturally as the narrative unfolds.

A story scene

After each scene, you're given choices that steer the plot. But unlike a traditional visual novel, you're not locked into preset options — type anything you want and the story adapts. Go off-script, surprise the characters, take the plot somewhere no one planned.

Choices appearing after a scene

Use arrow keys to navigate choices and Enter to confirm.

Your choices matter beyond the next line. Some stories track affinity, trust, and other stats — you'll see quick notifications when something shifts. Those numbers shape how characters treat you and which endings you unlock.

Every Playthrough Is Different

Stories have real endings. When the narrative reaches its conclusion, the screen fades and the ending text appears. Start again and make different choices — the story will take you somewhere new.
