🎬 From One Idea To A Full Story

Creating a new story is much easier now.

You can start with a short concept, hit create, and Deskie will help draft the core story setup for you.

It does more than generate a title, background, opening, and character setup. It also matches fitting characters and voices based on your story direction, so you can move from idea to a playable setup much faster.

✨ Story Updates Now Feel More Like RPG Feedback

Story chats can now show in-scene updates (for things like relationship or state changes) right when they happen.

Instead of missing important shifts in the middle of dialogue, you get quick, clear callouts during the scene, and those updates are easier to spot again in chat history.

🎭 New Emotion Voices

We added several new voices with emotion support. We also upgraded some existing voices to support emotion, so you might already notice better delivery on some characters.

In the voice selection tab, you will now see emotion levels labeled as Emotion, Emotion+, and Emotion++.

More + means stronger expressive range. Voices can better adapt delivery to conversation flow, including styles like happy, fear, calm slowdown, ASMR and more.

🖼 Story Cover Image Generation

You can now generate images for your story cover page directly in the story creation flow.

This is our first step for image generation in story tools, and we plan to light up more image-generation use cases in future updates.

🛠 Public-First Publishing

To keep the ecosystem healthier for everyone, publishing now focuses on public-ready content.

After you publish, content goes through review before it appears in public listings.

You can still create and use local drafts exactly like before for private iteration, testing, and personal use.

🎙 Choose Your Microphone

If you use voice input, you can now pick which microphone Deskie listens to in Settings.

This helps a lot when you have multiple audio devices connected (USB mic, headset, virtual devices, etc.).

🎼 Smarter Background + BGM Matching

We added new backgrounds and BGMs, and improved matching so story scene visuals and music fit the current moment more naturally.

🐛 Bug Fixes & Polish

Various fixes across story chat, voice flow, publishing, and general stability/performance.
