Create a Pet
Turn any idea into a tiny animated companion that lives on your desktop. Deskie draws the complete motion set from one prompt, so you can make something that feels alive without illustrating frames, building sprite sheets, or rigging a model.
In the Deskie desktop app, click Create on the homepage and choose Pet.
Imagine Its Look
Give your pet a name and a short description. These details become the starting point for generation, so a little personality goes a long way — "a grumpy corgi in a red raincoat" creates a more distinctive companion than "a dog."
Focus on the details you want to recognize at a glance: species or body shape, colors, clothing, accessories, and art style. The description also appears when people discover your pet, so let it capture what makes this little character special.
Generate the Complete Motion Set
Click Generate Animations and refine the image description. You can also add reference images by uploading, pasting, or dropping them into the prompt — useful for preserving an original character's colors, markings, or silhouette.
One generation produces the whole set of animated motions, including moments such as idling, walking, and sitting. The pet stays visually consistent across every action, ready to move around your desktop as soon as you choose a result.
Pick the Version That Feels Alive
Click any motion in the preview grid to replay it. Look for a clear silhouette, readable expressions, and movement with personality — the right bounce or blink can say as much as the pet's design.
If the result is close, click Use as Reference and generate again to keep its identity while exploring another version. You can also revisit earlier generations from the history panel. When the full set feels right, click Use This Image to add every motion to your pet.
Bring It to Your Desktop
Select your new pet and it appears on the desktop. Drag it to a favorite spot or give it a flick and watch it glide to a stop; its animations transition smoothly as it keeps you company alongside your other apps.
